We had a visit from The Magic of Music this morning.
First we listened carefully to identify sounds and different musical instruments. Then we made sounds using body percussion.
We used different instruments to show changes in dynamics. We used triangles to create the sound of soft rain and cowbells to create the sound of loud rain.
We really enjoyed the music workshop!
Maths Activities – Maths is fun!
We copied patterns and made patterns of our own.
We played Bingo and Dominoes.
We know lots of the boys will be staying up late tonight watching The Late Late Toy Show. Keep an eye for The Raw Rascals, a dance group featuring some of our past pupils! Best of luck to Alex, Bobby, Ethan, Djay and Jamie!
Mark and Dublin Star, Bernard Brogan, brought in the ‘Sam Maguire’ cup today!
The boys in Room 5 and Prefab 11 enjoyed the activity stations helped by the Transition Year students!
The boys in Room 6 have been practising having a Playground Leader for line up time. Well done, boys!
