We have been talking about our feelings for the past few weeks. Today we discussed things that make us angry, and what we can do to help ourselves feel calm again.

The boys worked hard cutting and pasting the correct amounts of money into purses.

The boys enjoyed G.A.A. with Mark today.

The boys have really been enjoying DEAR time this week.

The boys enjoyed listening to The Planets Full Suite this week so much that they got up and danced to it!

Miss. Lavelle’s 1st class have been working incredibly hard for the past few weeks. They learnt about autumn, what school was like in the past and enjoyed making a rainstorm using body percussion.

We also have two new class pets.

This is Speedy.

This little one is called Baby Speedy.

The boys made spooky bat silhouettes.

The children learnt about autumn. They learnt about the different parts of a leaf and they labelled a diagram showing where the petiole, midrib and vein are. They collected leaves and did leaf rubbings.

They finger painted these beautiful autumn trees.

They made some spooky pumpkins.

The boys all agreed that 1st class is a hoot!

The boys drew Picasso inspired witches. Don’t they look amazing?!
