The boys enjoyed choosing some books to take home from our World Book Day book swap event! We finished the day by reading a fun book by one of our favourite authors (book pictured below)

Our theme for World Book Day was bedtime stories. All the boys made a huge effort to come to school in their PJs. We concentrated on Irish Legend stories and enjoyed hearing about all the warriors and druids.

In February we celebrated Friendship Fortnight. We talked about what makes a good friend, who our friends in the class are, the things we have in common with our friends and the amazing qualities are friends have. We made a friendship flower and friendship cards for eachother!

We had a great time at our school Ceolchorim today. The boys performed an Irish song and and Irish poem on the stage in front of all the other classes and they did a wonderful job. Maith sibh! We loved watching all of the other classes perform too and enjoyed giving them a big Bualadh Bos!

Making Playdough

As part of our English book we were learning about the steps it takes to make playdough. As a class we decided to make our own so that we could play with and see how the process is done in real life!
