We enjoyed an exciting trip today to Ashtown Castle. We looked at all the interesting artefacts and pictures explaining all the historic events in the park. Our tour guide Bernie gave us a great tour of the castle and told us lots of interesting facts about it. We had a great play in the playground, followed by lunch and a highly competitive game of soccer. The talent was similar to the Euros!
It was an action packed day at Clonfert Farm. We saw lots of animals, played mini golf, bounced on castles, went down slides, zip lined, played football, went in the ball pool, drove go karts and had a picnic. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all.
It was finally time to release our butterflies after watching them grow over the past few weeks. We were fascinated to see the change from tiny caterpillar, to chrysalis to beautiful butterfly. We all held our breath as the butterflies landed on the ground, but were relieved when they took flight. It was a wonderful sight to behold.
Our class graduation was a fantastic, fun occasion. I was so proud of how hard the boys worked to make it such a wonderful success.
We have been learning all about the ocean and what animals live there. One of the animals we learned about was the jellyfish. We made beautiful jellyfish pictures using chalk pastels.
We had great fun and got lots of steps in on our walk. Thank you to everyone for their generous contributions.
We had a fantastic day today at the fighting words workshop. Everyone worked together to create the story ‘The Pig and the Avocado V’s the Spider’. Lots of cooperation and brainstorming produced a great tale.
We had great fun learning karate with Monica. We also had orienteering in the yard. We’ve had a very busy week,
We had such fun training with Master Howard, Cillian and Dara. They showed us how to stretch properly before doing any moves. Then all the boys got to try side kicks and high kicks. Finally we finished with some relaxation exercises. It was a fantastic experience.
