As always, December is a busy time of the year at school. Please see below for important dates and times.
Christmas Concerts
The boys are working in class groups and will do a little show in the School Hall. You are invited to come to see your son on the stage at the times listed below. Each show will last approx. 20 – 30 minutes. The boys will be allowed to go home after their performance if you wish to take them. Please allow them to return to their classroom and you can collect them from there.
Tuesday 18th December 12.30pm – Junior Infants
1.45pm – First Class
Wednesday 19th December 12.45pm – Senior Infants (including Ms Hartnett’s ASD Class)
Christmas Charity Collections
We all know that this time of year can put a lot of demands on families so we try to do our bit to ease the burden. This year we have two ways to help those in need. We are collecting non-perishable food and toiletries for Crosscare. Please send any donations in to the class teacher before Monday 17th December. We are also going to hold a Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 20th December. The boys may wear their festive jumpers and bring in a suggested donation of €2. All money raised will be donated to Temple Street Children’s Hospital. We will also leave donation boxes in the hall on the days of the concerts for anyone who wishes to donate then. Thank you in advance for all donations.
Special Visitor
A little bird has informed me that we may have a very special visitor to our school on Thursday 20th December. Hopefully, he (or she!) will catch everyone being good!
