World Book Day 2022

We designed covers for our favourite books and discussed them on world book day! We read the story Guess How Much I love You by Sam Bratney, we discussed the setting, characters, and feelings in the story. We then sequenced the story. We enjoyed the story alot! 🙂
Pancake Tuesday in PF8

Pancake Tuesday was a very exciting day in Prefab 8. We started the morning off with some cutting and sticking activities and the boys made some funny pancake faces on their pancake cut outs. We read a story about the runaway pancake who managed to escape everyone’s tummy except for the clever pig! We revised our poem “Mix a Pancake” which taught us how to make a pancake! The boys wrote the recipe for delicious pancakes in their copies. After all that hard work the boys all had a lovely treat of a pancake with some of our favourite toppings!! Yum!!

We learned all about the ingredients and procedure used to make pancakes. We listened to the story; The Runaway Pancake, and had lots of fun adding yummy toppings to our own pancakes, for Our Pancake Party!

The Junior Infant boys in Prefab 9 had great fun learning the procedure of how we make pancakes. We learned what ingredients we need and a step by step method. We then enjoyed decorating our own pancakes and having a pancake party. Happy Pancake Tuesday!
