We had Bernard Brogan and Sean Burglar in our classroom on Tuesday with the Sam Maguire – the boys were very excited and got to touch the cup to make a wish .I wonder what they wished for !!
Maths stations

We had fun today during our Maths stations. The boys made patterns, number towers, jigsaws and shape pictures. We also played a counting game on the whiteboard. The website www.topmarks.co.uk has a good selection of Maths games that the boys could also try at home.
Celebrating Our Boys in Blue!

We had a great surprise on Tuesday! Bernard Brogan, Séan Burglar and the Sam Maguire visited our classroom to celebrate Dublin’s 5 in a row win! We wore our favourite jerseys and sang our favourite song ‘Ireland’s Call‘. We are so proud of Our Boys in Blue!

The boys were nominated as being the best class for lining up during big break last week (7th-12th October). They won a trophy, which they get to keep for the week. Well done boys!

Maths Trail for Maths Week!

Senior Infants did a Maths Trail around the school to celebrate Maths week 2019! We counted, sorted, compared and looked for different patterns, measured lengths, widths and heights. It was great fun!
Baby photos!

Today, as part of History, we discussed changes that have happened from when we were babies to now. The boys examined their baby photos and identified how they have changed. We discussed how their likes and dislikes have changed also. I have now returned any baby photos that children brought in. Thanks for sending these in.
