Today we planted our pansies around our strawberries. The strawberries had time to grow on their own as the pansies grew inside where it was warm. We also saw white flowers coming from our strawberries which tells us our strawberries are growing in healthy soil!

We’ve been learning about how people are different and unique. We talked about hair colour and style, eye colour, height, and of course, skin colour! We learned that skin covers our bodies and comes in a variety of shades and skin tones, but we’re all the same on the inside – we all have a brain, a heart and lungs.
We did different activities to build our knowledge and acceptance of differences, including making a skin coloured rainbow using our NEW skin tone pencils, and drawing self-portraits.
