We have been learning about different types of houses and homes, such as; detached, semi-detached, terraced, cottages and flats. We went on a house hunt around the local community to see what houses we could find, we stopped off at the local Estate agents to see the types of houses for sale in the local area. It was hard work searching for the houses on our checklist, so we stopped off at the café for a rest and a gingerbread man!
We put an amazing amount of effort into our work on Christoher Columbus.
We did great sprinting today in P.E. The boys ran as fast as they could and then threw a beanbag at a target and back to their group. We added some hurdles in to jump over also.
We had fun today singing some songs and tapping the rhythm! We then used some musical instruments to tap the beat also.
We enjoy doing indoor movement breaks during raining days when we can’t go outside.
We have worked extremely hard on our projects about Antarctica. We learned all about the climate and the animals that live there.
We had fun today moving around to different stations at P.E. We did some throwing at a target, balancing on a bench, egg and spoon walking and jumping over hurdles!
Today we celebrated St. John Bosco Day – 31st January. We learned some facts about St. John Bosco and coloured in a picture of him too!
