Pancake Tuesday

We had great fun today for Pancake Tuesday! Ms Sawyer demonstrated how to make a pancake, some boys got to assist and to toss a pancake! We also said a Pancake poem. The boys then all had their own pancake with a delicious choice of toppings. Thank you Ms Sawyer for all the fun and the tasty pancakes!
Library show: Who’s in the garden?

Today we had a lovely trip to the library. We had a lovely Music and Drama session about animals we might find in the garden – a wren, pigeon, robin, frog, squirrel and a fox. We made up actions for each animal, turning them into dance moves, creating a little garden animals show.

Participation in the NextGenerationEU-funded Project
This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to purchase computing devices and coding materials.
We love Maths!

We had great fun this morning during Maths stations. We made patterns, played board games and used dice to ‘race to 10!’ Well done boys.
